We know that some animals have been taken by Serenity in the Valley (and bless her for doing so) and some taken by other local rescues, but there are many, many horses and other animals that may be unaccounted for?
AUSTENSIBLY, some of the PEC horses have been quietly moved to other properties, (if this is true, you people enabling the situation are just as bad as Dean if not worse, and I hope you find yourself the subject of legal action for aiding and abetting.)
Can anyone prove or disprove this? Is it fact or just ugly rumor?

Sounds like you have a petpeave. No - I have a QUESTION. I am genuinely curious to know if people are enabling PEC to keep horses despite the allegations levied against her. If these people are truely enabling her, then (assuming the charges stick) I feel they should be just as strongly prosecuted for aiding a convicted animal abuser. Of course, I could be wrong that's why I'm asking.

My understanding is there were something like 42 horses total, and Serenity only took 12 of them. The rest were moved off the property into various pastures (just pasture, no shelter or barn I have been told). Then there were the 10 additional auction purchases (supposedly 7 of them have been placed), so that leaves at least 33 horses unaccounted for. I do not know if the yearling with Strangles at PEC is included in that count. If the judge orders these horses to be removed, the question of where they will go is a big one. Most of the rescues in the area are completely overloaded with other recent large county seizures. Hopefully the rescues can find fosters and/or make room, because otherwise I think the county has no choice but to board them at the Enumclaw auction, which is about the worst place you can put a compromised, weakened animal (if anyone knows about what happened with the Snohomish County horses from the Elledge case, you know what I am talking about).

Who has the BEST knowledge of the horses that where there and where they are now, individual horses?
I SOLD Dean a horse a few months ago....had NO idea she had this going on and then I see her on the news...I wounder why she had not contacted me about the papers...maybe this is why...I would like to know how I can get this horse back and find out of he is OK.
SO who EXACTLY knows where each horse is??

Ok, if you wish to find out or regain ownership of any of these horses, call the PA of King Co... If a horse was a group adoption or a rescue from the feedlot then request papers for them (CBER or RO)...If you sold her a horse and still have the papers, see what it will take to get them back...
All this will take a little leg work, but can be done....
chatty
Add: checked into this and RO is not a rescue so they have no ownership... But group or bailer may...It's being check in to.....

Oleo I recognize the name. You must be the one that sold her the TB colt. He was the one that their vet saw the day after he came in. ( Yes, I saw the vet report). He was covered in lice and too thin to geld or even get his shots. Had a huge worm load also.
He is doing great, now. You should thank her not try and get the horse back you ass.
As far as the other horses, I don't know. Just saw the one.

Oleo You should thank her not try and get the horse back you ass. OK, you know I've had it up to my eyebrows with "Guests" coming in and defending the actions of PEC and trying to turn things around on people who really thought they were doing right by their animals... It's all over the news, and it takes more than simple accusations to bring up charges as severe as they are... PEC supporter image as found online:

In the middle here on this.
One Vet says one thing, another Vet the opposite. Has anyone seen the defendants Vet reports yet? Or even their side yet?
According to the court papers some of the horses were at PEC only a few months. Less than 5-6. Does anyone know what they looked like when they came in? They were all under a Vets care .
The overhead shot of the facility on the news shows NO horses there.
Think I will hold out on the verdict until I see the other side. I know how rescues eat each other.

I have adopted many horses that have been 200lb. or more under wt. But you only have to pick up the phone and have there FEET DONE!!!!! And you can BRUSH THEM..... FEED THEM....All of my horses after coming home within a week feet are done, teeth float, wormed and anything my vet feel is necessary. I will if needed blanket for better warmth.

Well that's all great. Fact is all horses DON'T gain full weight in a few months. Especially if there are other health issues with them.
All I'm saying is no one here has seen the evidence yet from the other side.

I know you- I guess technically Dr Emig is a vet but he is a very poor one with old school beliefs. You couldnt pay me to have him look at my horses, and yes this is from personal experience (before I knew beter) and have talked to MANY people since then with the same opinion.
