Dean Solomon will be arraigned next week (pending recovery from a brain aneurysm and surgery) in King County on four counts of misdemeanor animlal cruelty charges.
What is the process for charging someone with animal cruelty? How is it documented? What constitutes animal cruelty?

In Sam's email to me, she said she was preparing information for 'the animal cruelty charges'... so I'm guessing she has a part in this. Which is weird, cause you guys remember that exchange a few months ago, don't you? when Jeff went over and 'spied' on PEC? took pics? and then he found things to be fine... although he didn't like that the one stall was filled with stuff for a garage sale...
As for how you can get charged, from what I have read, you only need to get the AC interested, and they can charge... you don't have to prove anything to get charges, you only have to prove it in the court case.

so is this a case of an animal hoarder with the best intentions gone wrong, as hoarders don't see what they do as wrong. If this is the case, she needs help not court

the rush is in the rescue, not the daily care. much like shopping ,gambling problems IMO

but first it must be in the light, an understanding by the horder. People need to know so this can't take place again, as in going to an auction and aiding in the rescue of 8 -10 more.

ForThem, how is that horse that Dean stepped up and took for you when you couldn't manage him yourself?
Since you are so concerned with posting about Dean, have you thought about how you could help? Have you listed her adoptable horses anywhere? Have you offered to come down and help with grooming and taking pictures? Have you offered to network and try to find homes? Have you even asked if there was anything that you could do to help her? She was there to help you and now I see you talking down about her on all these different boards.
Do you remember Lancelot? Do you remember Dean coming to your rescue? How many people has she helped? How many times has she stepped up to the plate when no one else would?
